Jason Frankovitz is both a hardcore Internet developer with over twenty years of technical expertise and an experienced technology entrepreneur. His first startup, itList.com, pioneered the social bookmarking concept years before the current Web 2.0 craze. As Entrepreneur-In-Residence for Main Street Partners at MIT, Jason vetted a variety of tech-related projects and later consulted to Hummer Winblad Venture Partners in San Francisco, where he was also a producer and on-air talent for TechTV. Jason has consulted domestically for many companies including Security Dynamics/RSA and Rational Software, and internationally for the U.S. State Department, the Peace Corps, and Eaton Corporation. Jason attended the University of Southern California and Indiana University, and holds a B.A in Telecommunications from IU, graduating with Phi Eta Sigma honors.
